Hee
I was waiting for that
But on a serious note, will EA Sports change their poster-boy for NHL 10?

Found at From The Rink, not sure of original source.

Free Bonus Preview of Crazy Taxi! is a nice touch.

Who’s going to be the first to photoshop Kane’s game cover photo onto a Grand Theft Auto case?

Hmm
I think they should definitely switch the cover star after this, especially with the mediocre and always underwhelming 2k series going with Ovechkin for their cover. Steve Mason cover anyone?

Well EA Sports used Ovecklin already in NHL 07…

That was actually the last game I had before 09, with the old caps jersey, but I’m just saying that a lot of non-hockey people may choose a game with arguably the best offensive player in the league on the cover over one with a criminal. Crosby has never been on the cover, neither has Luongo (though I’m not sure he deserves it). Getzlaf or MAF would be good choices.

oh I know
Original poster boy for NHL 2004 was Heatley and that was right before his “accident” and EA replaced him with Sakic at the last minute although some early copies with Heatley on the cover still make it to the market

Grand Theft Taxi: Bison City
_Take on the role of a once up-and-coming sports star, returning to his hometown of Bison City to exact his revenge against the infamous mob-run taxi drivers who have driven this once semi-thriving, cold-as-kerry-fraser’s-heart of a town into a city where football has become half-Canadian, the downtown looks like dirtier than Tom Kostopolous’s hits, and the streets are run by a gang of 60-something cabbies who make extra money by pretending not to have change… bastards. _
Play your game right and your in game alias, Patrick Kane, will cleaning up the streets, rolling in the nickels and laying the beat down on crooked cabbies like its his job… wait, isn’t it?

I’d buy that for a dollar.

Grand Theft Taxi: Bison City is a great game but the soundtrack sucks.
After you jack a taxi, the radio only plays Goo Goo Dolls, the Sabre Dance, select tracks from Jim Schoenfeld’s 1973 album Schony (like BBQ in Heaven) and Rick Dudley’s “Natural Man”

That works normally, but when you have people coming in, asking you to look things up for them and leaning over your shoulder, its always safer to close any contraband. This is one of the last interesting sites that isn’t blocked on our network.

Working in web marketing, that happens to me at least once a week.
Them: Hey, do you have a sec?
Me: (alt-tab) Sure!
Them: Can you help me with a problem?
Me: Of course! I’m helpful!
Them: Cool. Can you open up your browser?
Me: Um…. no.
