"Go Flyers!" entered the PPP lexicon due to an observation by Godd Till of Cox Bloc.  While reading the comments of several of the commenters featured in kidkawartha's semi-regular Mouth-Breathers Anonymous he noted that the most egregiously stupid comments were often followed by the phrase "Go Flyers!".  Whether it was defending the merits of a Flyers player, demonstrating extreme ingorance of the game of hockey the phrase or flying into the penatly box in a suicide mission to fight Tie Domi, Flyers fans and the phrase "Go Flyers" were prevalent.  This is when aa "challenge" was issued and the creative juices of the PPP community started flowing.  It resulted in "Go Flyers!" becoming a lasting phrase to indicate stupidity of the highest level or to add at the end of comments to indicate sarcasm.
