I don’t know if you really have to “believe” in Vernon Wells. I mean, there is reasonable material evidence of his existence.
Last night, for example, I watched him fly out to centre to kill the rally in the eighth. To his credit, it wasn’t as lame a flyout as the one Barajas pulled off one inning later….

Don’t bash the Rogers moniker, Ted put tens of millions (if not more) into refurbishing that place, along with increasing the team payroll, he at least deserves the minimal advertising that comes from the renaming.

Yea, except Rogers improved it and they deserve to be able to name it after themselves. It will always have been the rogers centre, but it isn’t anymore.

Actually, the Blue Birds and the Ti-Cats take up pretty much all my sports related attention over the summer – hence why this is my first post in like 4 months.
I’m gonna be housesitting/ paying attention to a couple needy cats in T.O while my buddy’s on his honeymoon.

Post-game drinks sound enticing, though they will totally depend on the timing of the end of the game in relation to the GO schedule for lakeshore West.
And my elitist seats can be attributed to 1) my girlfriend spends more money than she probably should on everything and 2) she just pressed “best available” and bought them.

Random question, but do you all know each other from elsewhere, or is everyone here friends via PPP? And I was away for a bit, so I only noticed this posting now, which doesn’t really give me much time to organize a trip to join. Another time, go Jays!
