Look! Up in the Sky! It's a Bird! It's a Plane!
It's the Thursday FTB!

- Clawson imagines a sadomasochistic pineapple serenading Grabovski.
- MLHS takes a deeper dive in to the Leaf Prospect rankings. Thankfully, it's no longer a shallow pool.
- ...and TML Nation likes the deep prospect pool themselves.
- TSM has the price of Marleau, even more zombie Chelios benefits and the latest from Brian Burke: Just Say No to Free Agents.
- ...and Why, pray tell, does Burke say no to free agent forwards? It's the depth on defense. TML Central looks at who could be on the move if Burke can make it happen.
- However, what does a team need to make the playoffs, and possibly win it all? Defense you say? Why, the Leafs have that in spades! So, LeafyMcLeaf wants to know, why all the haterade?
- New to the Barilkosphere, Leaf & Lion is handing out report cards.
- Boston Blue Line is voting the most hated left wings in to hockey hell. Somehow, former Leafs Tie Domi and Darcy Tucker are beating Jarkko Ruutu. It is your duty as a Leafs fan to head on over and fix this miscarriage of justice.

That picture is hype.
It makes me think of R. Kelly.

Voted 5 times for Jarkko Ruutu
There is no way I am going to let Tucker or Domi become enshrined as a hockey scumbag on some obscure internet website I’ve never heard of until today hosted by a fan of an opposing team.
It just means too damn much!

I loved Darcy Tucker because everyone else hated his guts. Wearing my Tucker jersey to the grocery store in Connecticut would result in no less than three people telling me to go to hell every time.

It is beginning to look like PPP’s nickel defense is missing two down linemen next to Triple P and Chemmy. Linebackers and secondary look solid.

My best bet, and this is based on nothing but a guess, is that they’re trying to get the @MapleLeafs tag away from that moronic bot that’s using it now. They may be waiting on that before they really start using twitter.

I’m 99.4% sure it won’t go down.
Marleau has a NTC and the last man he wants to play for is Ron Wilson.
The Sharks can’t take on any salary, the Leafs don’t have any value contracts to spare.
The Leafs need youth not old guys – Marleau is 30 (recall what Burke said about the Pronger rumours, his age doesn’t fit the profile of what Burke is trying to do)
