And I still remember my elation when the Jets hit Bledsoe so hard his heart stopped and we got a new quarterback.

That Brady is amazing is icing on the cake, I was just rooting for Bledsoe to die the whole season.

The Pats lost that game to fall to 0-2. When it was confirmed that Beldsoe was out long-term, I remember reading an article that said something along the lines of “After two crazy weeks, the only thing we know for sure in this unpredictable NFL season is that the Patriots will be picking first overall next spring.”
