Phil Kessel at 47 points? wow…

Too low or too high? I think that’s just about right. He’s going to miss half the season at least, and if what Elliotte Friedman said was true, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kessel misses most of the season.

from what ive heard he’s only gonna miss october and half of november, id put him closer to 60

I don’t know. I’ve read 12-15 games. Then he has to get into game shape but apparently it won’t be as late as previously thought.

it’s still at least mid to late november for him to game shape and into the flow of the game. might take a month or two to iron out the kinks on a new team and build some chemistry

If our highest point producer puts up just 56, we’re not going anywhere. Luckily I don’t trust these predictions at all.
I think Ponikarovski could hit 70 this season.
Boo hoo!

I think he very well could, too. I mean, we’ve already discussed how at this time last year, TSN was predicting the Habs to win the Cup, so these rankings are obviously a long way from being close to sure bets. That being said, it still is a potential reality that we may have to cope with, even after giving up two 1st round picks to pick up Kessel.
I will be very surprised if we don’t have at least one player in 60 points this year.

Stempniak’s going to get 43 points? When did we get this guy and who the fuck is he?

Um, Hagman got 40+ points last year and missed some time due to injury…
I’m sure he will regress this year….
