Truculence Tracker: Francois Beauchemin v. Paul Bissonnette
This is something new for this season that'll hopefully track all of the Leafs' fights this season. Thanks to Hockey Fights for the videos and be sure to log in and vote in their poll for this fight available here.
If I was Tim Wallace I would chew Jay McKee's head off. That was one of the worst suicide passes I have ever seen. Good thing that was Francois Beauchemin laying a clean hit and not Dion Phaneuf or Wallace would be picking chunks of elbow pad out of his teeth. Of course, as it the troubling norm with any big, clean hit Beauchemin had to fight.
There were some good moments there from Pierre McGuire warning Bissonnette that Beauchemin is stronger than he looks to Bissonnette honourably pointing to Beauchemin's stick to warn him not to step on it. He probably would have fared better if he had let Beauchemin fall. Happy Trails landed some decent shots and then squeezed the life out of Bissonnette.
