Thank you. I think the resemblance I achieved is decent- it’s hard to tell because so much of his face is obscured by the mask. I think that places increased emphasis on what is showing. But I’ll let you judge for yourself. Here is the ref pic I worked from:

Clearly my colours are way off, but overall I’m happy with the likeness. I omitted the crossbar on the right side intentionally because I didn’t want the bright red to distract the viewer’s eye from the mask and his face.
I probably won’t post the Gord Downie drawing here as it has nothing to do with the Leafs (I guess I could pencil in Bill Barilko’s ghost in the background ;) ).
