Sunday night's episode of 16:9 The Bigger Picture featured a segment on Nazem Kadri. The segment looks at Sam Kadri's love of hockey (and his inability to play) and the hard work he put into ensuring that Nazem would be able to play Canada's game. The end of the segment highlights his status as a role model for young Muslims getting into hockey. The Kadri family's story mirrors that of so many in Canada (with the added benefit of superstardom) including my own. It's interesting to note how well Kadri handles the entire situation.
