Caputi Returned to Marlies
This likely means Colby Armstrong is close to returning. Tough break for 'Puti but at least he can play instead of sitting in the press box. Boom.

Like others,
I assume he was called up for the road trips and for additional injury insurance.
Sucks that he didn’t play all that much or contribute how he wanted, but there’s still plenty of time to develop.
Like I’ve said previously, he’s ahead of the curve relative to how a guy like Bergfors performed prior to the NHL.
Ideally he can stick by year’s end. It will take another year or two before you can start thinking he’s a “bust” (and I use the term loosely since he’s only 22 now and will only be 24 by then).
Patience, everybody.

Speaking of the Marlies...
They’re playing right now, and Caputi has an assist already. 1-0 Marlies!
I don't think so, only in preseason.

Speaking of the Marlies
They just had a line brawl in the game. 6-7 Marlies in the box, Holzer is actually standing in the fan seats beside the box accordingto Chansler. Caputi in a fight right after.
Just saw that on twitter.
16 fighting majors given out. Damn I wish I could have seen this one.

Colby ...
Armstrong was out on ice in full gear before the leafs practice this morning.
(Dion was also out on ice but not in full gear, only in a track suite)
((Mike Komisarek also broke a pane of glass this morning to delay the start of practice))
(((Giggy was also out in full gear on ice)))
- Possibly all injured players making a return sooner rather then later!!
Happy Hump Day people!!

Tangent
If this does mean Armstrong is coming back, who does he take out of the lineup? Orr?

I'd move Brent back to the 4th line and sit Mitchell, move Versteeg to Centring the 3rd line.
Sjostrom-Versteeg-Armstrong
Orr-Brent-Brown
I don’t think Armstrong is ready to come back just yet, but probably early next week.

Doubt that line would score much
if at all.

If Orr isn't fighting
(he needs to fight more than the last game), replace him with JFM
I am drinking the Kule-aid!
agreed. Unless we’re playing some one with a heavywieght, Orr should be sitting. I’d much rather have Mitchell available to move up if someone is injured, and to start taking some turns killing penalties.

Funny story, actually:
I Tweeted Dallas Eakins a day ago saying “Why is Caputi sitting in the press box for the Leafs while he could be playing decent minutes for the Marlies?”
About 12 hours later, he Tweets back, saying “Where do you hide your crystal ball?”
I was a little confused by this comment, and thought he might have meant that he didn’t know either. Lo and behold, Caputi is sent down another 10 hours later.
Oh, you better believe that's a paddling.
Can't get over how quickly the Cap Geek folks work.
Caputi is already listed as off the books.
Oh, you better believe that's a paddling.
They’re spectacular.

As flattered as I would be, I sincerely hope Burke & Co. came to the decision themselves.

If they did
I’m shocked it took him 12 hours to get back to the person calling the shots.

Caputi will get playing time, so all is alright I Guess.
As a side note, Luca Caputi’s name is rappable, as evidenced here. Sounds like Versteeg kinda rap though………
Puti in...Puti out...
Caputi has been called back up to the leafs …BOOOOOOOM!
Poor guy is getting shuffled around more then a dice!
