So clrkaitken analyzed home vs away. And he commented that the Leafs look decent at home and terrible on the road. Discussing the leafs record at home some called it mediocre while others claimed it was very good by pointing out that their 6-4-2 record at home is a 96 point pace in 82 GP. This bothered me because you can not just analyze home and prorate it to 82 games than compare to the rest of the league. You need to compare it to other HOME records. So I did just that.

So what do I see?
- The Leafs are almost the DEFINITION of mediocre at home. The mean is 49, the median is 48 and they have 48.
- The Leafs are ATROCIOUS on the road. They are almost 2 standard deviations below the mean. Thats just ridiculous.
