Just a little fun due to boredom. No ill will intended.
Sung of course to "Clear the Track, Here Comes Shack."
I've always thought this was one of the "catchiest" musical examples of hockey obsessiveness and it popped into my head while watching last night's game. I figured it needed an update. I would have posted this over at SCH, but not a living soul would have gotten it. Hopefully he uses his 5 mins tonight productively and puts Ovi on his ass.
Here's the original tune on YouTube (for the young?):

Just curious
Is “Clear the Tracks, Here Comes Shack” known by just about everyone in Toronto? I personally have no idea, but assumed it was.
And hey, I’d like to point out that your boy Kris has 1 goal and 2 assists in 2 days ;) and Orr had a fight. (even though that was like predicting the sun would rise tomorrow. knock on wood) I tell ya these photoshops work! Bahaha

I’ve been familiar with the phrase since I was…5 or 6?
Had no idea there was a song behind it.

Ahh, I figured it was pop culture for Leaf fans. I’ll admit this post isn’t even slightly humorous if you don’t know the song:
Clear the Track, Here Comes Shack
It’s one of those tunes that will stick in your head for a few days. Apparently is was #1 for 3 months or something like that when it was released in 1966. Oh, you Canadians ;)

Well, thanks for posting. I’d guess it’s at least peripheral pop culture to most.
I’m claiming to be too young. Let’s see if it sticks.

I love that picture of him.
