Hello PPP members and writers. My name is Scott Kessler and I am currently a managing editor of SB Nation's Philadelphia Union blog the Brotherly Game and a contributor for SBN Philly. I'm also an undergraduate student studying Journalism & Media Studies at Rutgers University (in New Jersey, USA).

This semester I'm taking a course called "Development of Mass Media" and the final is on any subject or event/situation in the media that concerns 'you.' This summer PPP went through quite a tiff with the main stream media, namely the Toronto Sun and Damien Cox, and I threw myself into it a little bit on twitter. When given the final assignment I immediately thought back to this summer and decided to write my final paper and present in class about PPP.

Yesterday I stood in front of a class of about 45 American students, most of whom either don't know about SB Nation sites nor know about the Toronto Sun. The presentation went well enough - I hope - and I was able to film it. I'm more than happy to show it to you all. 

Couple of things to note:

(1) I did say Pension Puppet Pals, don't shoot me. The worst part of it is that I had tabs of this blog open on the laptop in front of me.

(2) I only had four minutes so I didn't find the time to touch upon the twitter battles or the second plagiarism by the Sun, nor the emails from the Sun.

(3) I think I did better with the follow up questions than I did with the presentation itself but feel free to let me know. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

(4) Yes, I am a Flyers fan.
