My Toronto Darlings; {UPDATED!}
I'll be in your fair city at the end of March. I'll be going to the Thrashers game on the 30th. And probably leaving the 31st for Portland to see Muse. Odds are I will get into TO on the 27th or 28th. I'd love to hang and I'm open to meet up suggestions. Also, I'd like someone to take me to the zoo.
See you soon.
xoxo,
WAC
EDIT and UPDATES:
What are you doing on Sunday March 28th? Going to the zoo with me, the General, PPP and bkblades, right? It'll be rad. We can eat elephant ears, while looking at elephants! Let's make it a good ol' family outing. Bring your kiddos, wifeys, hubbys, girlfriends and bo'frens.

the zoo might be sucky in the winter. It’s a rather gigantic zoo it’ll take 12 hrs to see the whole thing and I don’t know how many Lions and Zebras like being outside in the canadian winter.It could still be fun though. I’ve never tried to go in the winter.
See, I didn’t think of that because around here we didn’t have a winter. No snow, nothing. It’s been rather spring like out the whole time.

The zoo is awesome
Even in winter. No crowds, no lineups. Parking is free. There’s lots of indoor pavillions, and quite a few animals still outside. I took my 2 and a half year old daughter a few weeks ago and we had a great time. It’s set up so that you can see about 75% of the zoo in about half the day. A new exhibit they have is the Acrtic Tundra Trek. The Arctic Wolves were really cool.

indeed
the zoo is best in the rain, when it’s a bit cooler. I’ve always found the animals more active, and way easier to see because there’s less people there.

Please let's go to the zoo
Hey elephant, why the big ears and long nose? You sad or something? Say hi to your mother for me.

When I was at the Portland zoo, I yelled at the otters for swimming too fast because I couldn’t take pictures. OTTER, YOU STOP THAT, I JUST WANT YOUR PICTURE. YOU’RE MOVING TOO RAPIDLY.
Other people stared at me. Because I was screaming at adorable animals.

lol at least you were nicer about it then I was. I was in Mexico in November and walking away from the area where you could swim with the dolphins commenting about how they are attention whores, and they proceeded to stick their heads out the water and prove me right. Or to tell me off in dolphin speak.
