We should switch. Hughson/Simpson can call the games in South Korea. You wouldn’t realize that they can’t speak Korean since the only words they know are Ovechkin, Sedins, Crosby and Luongo and they are pronounced the same in every language.

This is one of those things where I wish I could ensure Crosby himself, and the rest of the hockey team for that matter, has actually heard it themselves. Imagine being the catalyst for an event, and then hearing reactions from it from literally around the world. Great post, and an greater clip.

Is it just me or does it seem like the whole world wanted Canada to win? (or at least the whole broadcasting world). It’s funny I thought that Iggy thing was a reference to the DGB/Bloge clip, hadn’t heard it in the actual footage ’til now.

Dmitri Yushkevich was so tough, he once blocked a Chuck Norris kick with his teeth and finished the shift.

i thought it was too late to post this video but I see an opening so here it is. Western students live in their own little bubble and this is how we celebrated at the bar on campus (the spoke). Awesome video posted by the school newspaper, that’s me at the end sitting on the stage with the Canada flag singing away. Still brings tears of joy to my eyes.

Well they sort of re-renovated it this year. It’s gone back to being all bar/lounge with the big tables. It’s been bleeding money like the Yotes for a few years now though.
