Links! Glorious Links!

Sometimes you decide to watch more TV Friday nights and you forget that SkinnyFish told you that he would be coaching some degenerates on the weekend. I also think he took their King, Chemmy, so this might be the preview too. Basically, two terrible teams that their fans hope have reach rock bottom will meet with very different goals. The Oilers are trying to ensure at worst a top 2 pick and the Leafs are trying to see if they can make up enough ground with their annual "It's Over So Let's Win" end to the season. They are a long way off ut the teams ahead of them are helping them out. The Islanders are within reach with only a 5 point cushion.

We've spoken of some of the bright spots but now it's up to the kids to keep the ball rolling. There's no pressure so they can play their game. Actually, there is some pressure. They could lose the season series to the worst team in Edmonton Oilers history. Think about that.

So here are the afternoon links prior to the Toilet Bowl in the ACC:

Sometimes I forget how many stupid, ignorant, idiotic, lame, moronic, crazy, hater, unoriginal and downright lobotomy-inducing commentors are out there when you get used to the standard of comments on this site.

Wow, poor puckdaddy.

On who has the brighter future – I guess ‘brighter’ needs to be qualified. When you weigh all the points made in the article I think you have to conclude that Toronto has the brighter future.

The only significant advantage that Edmonton has is their blue chip prospects (add another one after this years draft.) Everything else seems to point to Toronto being the team with the advantage.

The comments on the first link make my head hurt….

The Luck of the Irish Leaf: Because when the Irish are short on luck, at least there's tons of booze.

Wow, I just read through them all now.

That is just insane… How anyone and I mean ANYONE not view that as being wrong is just completely and ridiculously insane.

Life as a Toronto Sports Fan?... *sigh*... It is what it is...

The only person I can think of who wouldn’t is probably Michael Richards (the Comedian)
