Leafs at Islanders: Snap Into the Draft Lottery

Puck Drop: 5PM Leafs-TV
While the Leafs were busy giving the people's elbow to Edmonton last night the Islanders pedigreed the Devils 4-2 on goals by Freddy Meyer (Go Terriers!), Jon Sim, Sean Bergenheim and Mark Streit.
The Leafs have finally won three games in a row for the first time all season yet remain five points behind the Islanders for the right to draft third. One has to imagine that the Islanders would like to draft second so I declare tonight Pro Wrestling Night: wherein two teams both pretend this is a legitimate sporting event. If the Leafs lose we'll just assume they're going to win at Wrestlemania and this sets up the story line.
Jean-Sebastien Giguere should get the start across from Martin Biron. The tickets I normally sit in on the glass at Nassau Coliseum are on StubHub right now for $51 a piece. Wish I wasn't so busy.

I did indeed see them but the lower a pick we get the better the trade looks. Never said Kessel was a bad player.

Indeed. I read Hart’s autobiography and he didn’t do himself any favours by continuing to wrestle after he suffered the concussion. That and WCW totally ruined him.
