Guys I saw on Sportsnet Connected earlier that Poni left practice with what appeared to be a knee injury. No word on how serious it is, but from the video he looked to be very frustrated leaving the ice.
Obviously, the Leafs don’t want to risk any further injury but the possibility exists that he actually might not be able to play tonight. Let’s hope it’s nothing serious.
Dreger says that Luca Caputi is coming back from Pittsburgh as soon as the Pens clear cap room. Am I wrong in thinking that the Leafs could have gotten more?
