PPP Podcast Episode Two: Sorry for the Wait
We're slow around here at PPP Amalgamated Heavy Industries but one thing we don't do is make scapegoats out of undeserving people. With that said I present to you the real reason that our Podcast took so long to get into your Zune iPod:

It's all Wendel Bark's fault. He will be punished to the full extent of the law for his sloth and flat face. Enjoy this week's podcast. It's up on iTunes right now or you can download it right here.

Funny how Lee looks a lot better now that he’s playing with the offensive studs that are Vern Fiddler & Taylor Pyatt.

Also funny? That he apparently read the rulebook on his cross-country flight from Toronto to Phoenix and realized you put the puck IN to the net.

It starts off with Chemmy and I – Chemmy is the smooth talking host.
PPP joins in later on.
We’ll try to remember to do introductions when we do the next one…

Here’s an easy way to remember who’s who:
The one who calls everyone an asshole is Chemmy.
The one that’s never quite sure what he wants to say is me.
The quiet one’s MF37.

That may be the first time I’ve ever been described as “the quiet one.”

On the point of Luke Pither, they don’t have an official splits page for him, but they do have a game-by-game log, and his splits, just from looking at it, make it seem like he plays pretty well both home and away.

As far as Pither goes, I think Brent Aubin is the poster boy for not giving a shit about how overagers do in major junior. The numbers are skewed enough to be borderline meaningless, overagers almost automatically play big minutes with talented kids and have the benefit of added mental development and physical coordination.
It shouldn’t be overlooked that the AHL is a natural step for someone trying to continue a paying career regardless of their NHL chances. Plus organizations need to fill their AHL rosters with talented players for the good of all involved, and that often means signing guys with no real shot in the big league. If that’s the case then organizational depth doesn’t need to matter to the player with regards to their signing, they may be looking for location or salary or exposure with pro scouts for european leagues.

Fantastic job
I listened to it twice. Tons better than the Hockee Night podcast – those tools just sit around laughing uproariously at every sentence anyone manages to speak, regardless of whether it’s a joke.
Keep the cheesy organ music, keep puckurgently’s production help and add an introduction (for new listeners) at the front end and I think you’ve got something here.
Really liked the bit about Pither and the last segment about who’s next in the fans’ crosshairs. I could see Jeff Marek having you guys on his show with quality stuff like that.
