"Useful" player John Mitchell got hurt when Chris Neil breathed on him last night. He skated this morning and will play. Meanwhile Fredrik Sjostrom left with an apparent shoulder injury which is a shame as he was playing on the PK and looking relatively useful.
Tim Brent and Jay Rosehill have been recalled, only one of them will skate in the place of Sjostrom.
J.S. Giguere will get the start across from Michael Leighton in all likelihood. Philly had Saturday night off after losing to Buffalo in OT on Friday.

Carkner is most def Ottawa’s heavyweight. Neil is a glorified foot solider. If anybody answers the call for Ottawa its Carkner and he’s been pretty successful. Just not against Orr.
