After the first round debacle that is the Bruins-Sabres series ended last night, Sabres fans were suddenly crying that the Bruins play the most boring style of game in the league. Two things that irk me about this are;

A) Really? It took you guys THAT long to realize the Bruins are a snore fest?

B) Sabres fans are calling ANOTHER TEAM BORING!

Here is the typical scene at a Sabres game: Opposing team ices 5 skaters and a goalie. Sabres ice 5 skaters and Ryan Miller. The opposing team simply skates around taking shots at Ryan Miller while the Sabres skaters check out their new skates in the glass and drink beer over by the bench. Miller makes enough saves that the opposing team is too exhausted to continue, and the Sabres skaters decide to skate up the ice for a minute to bang in a goal off two players, the rafters, post, goalie, and in. For a Sabres fan to rag on the Bruins is outright insanity. Which is why I am moving the Sabres UP on my hate list for other teams (they used to be behind the Bruins). My list now looks like this;

1) Canadiens

T1) Senators

3) Sabres

4) Boston

5) Canucks

Another factor in to the Sabres moving ahead of the Bruins on my hate list is that Milan Lucic sucks now so there's not as much rage built up from his antics. Plus, Komisarek (now a Leaf) paid Lucic back last year in the playoffs when he was a Hab by cracking his stick off over Milan's canoe of a nose. I dont know why Lucic blows all of a sudden but the Bruins are going to get blown out by the Penguins in round 2. Savard is back in? Who cares.
