So, with Tomas Kaberle all but gone soon, I thought it'd be interesting to see what kind of forwards are out there, like him, with one season left until UFA. The following list is far from exhaustive, and most (all?) wouldn't be worth Kaberle, but nevertheless I was curious to see if there were any I'd consider taking for a season, and hope to swoon into resigning. The way I see it, we need forwards, and if we get a decent quality one, and are able to keep him, it could go a long way to boosting us back to respectability (and the playoffs).

Looking at the list, a few players could be of interest, though not all are feasible of course. Bergeron, Gagne, and Connolly could be quality players if they could stay healthy. Richards and Thornton have huge hits, but are huge producers. St. Louis and Arnott are too old for our rebuilding team. Koivu, Semin, Backes, are the ones who seem to match up well both in production and age. Any thoughts on whether we'd be happy with a 1 for 1 trade for them?
