sadface
I wanted to see him come back and do well. I hope everything works out in the end for him though!
I like to get banged.

He would more likely displace his finger

Double sadface
I feel bad for Mike. He’s a good guy, and he had a promising career at one point. I hope this isn’t it for him.
Loving the Leafs is like being in love with a drug-addled, gambling addicted prostitute with a heart of gold and a bunch of humanitarian awards from her youth. It’s hard. It hurts. But dammit! I just love them!

Ok this is a little out there, I admit, but I was talking to my RMT (who also rehabed Lecavalier’s shoulder a couple summers ago) and she said part of what was going on with a particular injury I had was that my body-type was ectomorphic, so when I tried to build a lot of muscle, my bones weren’t necessarily up to the task of supporting it. I’m a skinny distance runner with big legs. My problem was with my calves. Anyway, I wonder if a guy like MVR is also miss-reading his body-type. I’ve not actually seen him but apparently it has to do with shoulder to hip ratio.

I would take anything a RMT says with a grain of salt. That goes for chiropractors too.

Funny she is also anti-chiro. But I’m not. I’ve had very good results from both. If it didn’t work, I wouldn’t keep going. I used to go to a sports massage guy (does the Als and baseball players and stuff) but he gave me the same treatment no matter what my symptoms.
I don’t think it is fair to judge an entire profession. There are good and bad practitioners in those areas just like there are good and bad doctors and physios.
I had a really good physio, too, but she was always booked two-three weeks in advance.

That’s really too bad. Taking 2+ years off in his prime pretty much spells the end of his pro hockey career I’d imagine. Didn’t he play like 50 games short of qualifying for a pension too? That sucks.
As I recall, there was a lot of debate about whether or not he qualified. I think we all really hope for his sake that he can, because from everything I’ve heard, he was a stand-up guy. I might be imagining things, but I thought I remembered hearing that the NHLPA had some kind of discretionary power in these kinds of situations. That said, I might also have just been confused.
