I’ve heard the comparo a few times, and I can kinda see it. I think Kadri is a better natural goal scorer than dougie was, but if he can translate it to the NHL….one can dream

I think the fact that Kadri is a small-ish dude who plays a physical game and can score is what leads to a comparison like that. Hearing Cherry say “Dougie is 5’10 and 165 lbs and is running over guys 6’2 – 200lbs” makes me think that Kadri can do the same kind of thing.

But until Kadri lights it up with the Leafs the same kind of way Dougie did, the comparisons kind of end there…
