Hockee Night Puckcast with DGB, PPP, CT, and ForkLift
This was probably the most organized visit to Hockee Night's Puckcast. DGB was also a guest and in a switch from the last time we were on together he was quiet for most of it. I have a good idea of the reason. This may be Eyebleaf's favourite puckcast ever. Daoust may not be such a big fan. We talk about how buying tickets makes you responsible for your team's decisions, Tomas Kaberle, Viktor Stalberg, Bif Naked, "Youngblood", moustaches, and shockers.
It's really got something for every one. I leave early and can only imagine the nice things that DGB, CT, and ForkLift said about me. Maybe someone can let me know. Hope you guys enjoy it. Be sure to go over to Hockee Night and tell them how much you love it when they become a Leafs' Podcast.

I’m intrigued. Eyebeleaf and I are in agreement about the most important Leaf things – ie the awesomeness of Mats and Kaberle – so why would he love it but not me?
Wait…… but i’m a suit. Probably lots of sh8t-talk about ‘real fans’, sushi, etc?
Screw you guys, I’ll eat pancakes on your graves. And I also won’t be offering to take either of you to the home-opener with the pair of golds I’ve got.
Yesterday is dead, but not my memory.
So I’ll meet you at 6pm in my suit (yikes!) for the home opener?
Cool.

Was that a snarky remark about Sundin I just heard you make?
No suit for you.

I’ll make an embarassing admission: I didn’t know who Fredo was when that went up.
I also don’t know how to make the fucking countdown widget work I wanted to put one up counting down until the preseason.

I assume you’ve remedied that situation by watching the movies now…

I’ve only watched the first two Godfathers once back in university, and I don’t remember all that much to be honest. Fredo being a dimwitted backstabber who tried to have his brother killed was a pretty key theme though. And not a very nice thing to call Mats.
Yesterday is dead, but not my memory.
The key takeaway was that Fredo broke his brother’s heart just like Mats broke mine.

you could have chosen another heartbreaker who wasn’t so unlikable.

I always liked poor Fredo. He was led astray by that other guy (ie JP Barry)
