Seven Marlies' games on CBC this year
CBC signed a one-year broadcast deal with the AHL. They will show games on Sunday afternoons.

Nice
Good way to gain a bit of TV exposure for the Marlies. Will be good watching on a hungover Sunday.

It's actually seven
But what’s with the single, early-season tilt against Binghamton, compared to the pair of late season games against the Moose.
I get the Canadian-team angle, but judging by the 11 AM start for the Abbotsford game, it seems obvious that the CBC is banking more on viewership numbers that come out of Ontario. How many Westerners are going to wake up early to watch the Moose two times, compared to a second, or at least later-season game between the Sens and Marlies?
