So for better of for worse...seems like for the better...Raffi Torres has not signed with the Leafs, and instead inked a one year contract with the Vancouver Canucks 1yr@1mil (via Daren Millard of Sportsnet on twitter).
Either way it is a good price for a player with some jam and who will occasionally net a couple of goals. What does everyone think of the deal? Was it fair for both sides? Who else do you think could be a bargain player who could be picked up via free agency here in the late stages of the summer?
