How many American readers would actually get the joke?

Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing - Vince Lombardi
Isles fans (all three of them) certainly wouldn’t.

left it in the Igloo.
Which was not a smart move really, because I’m in the midwest here, pretty much on the border with the South these days… and it’s September… the Igloo is taking a lot of work to keep from melting. If it gets any warmer the huskies are going to shed everywhere.
I converted to hybrids (husky + hairless cat genes) and it’s been great.

bad move
you can insulate a house with six months’ worth of Husky shedding. R-70, easy.

If the Leafs take the Isles for the Stanley Cup BMR will explode. I’m not sure if it would be in the dangerous kind of explosion or a sexy kind, but explosions will happen.

Just curious- is this string of comments the joke? Seriously- if this wasnt SB Nation Id honestly think this line of comments was made up by Ottawa and Habs fans to make you guys look silly. LOL- I really cant believe you started saying Isles fans have no teeth- I mean seriously- we are in NY, not the deep south. You need to get your stereotypes straightened out lol.

I assume you took the string of comments about living in an igloo and using husky fur to insulate our walls equally seriously?

I find discovering Isles fans exist to be extremely strange, and even more strange that they’re willing to identify themselves as such. Are you sure we’re still on PPP and not in the twilight zone?

I am dead serious.
Nothing I say on this site is ever a joke. Whenever I log in, people stop, feel the air and comment, “Seriously, this place got real serious.”
Serious.
