Wilson apparently "posted" some cash for a little extra motivation for the win against the Sharks. Is this a violation of the cap?

there goes another 4th rounder lol. This is fucking ridiculous. The guy put money on the board for his team to win and they consider this paying “under the table” I bet Gillis saw this on tv and pointed at his tv and screamed TAMPERING and immediately called Bettman.

we joked about this today in the FTB. If anything comes of it (I doubt it) it have a hard time believing it will be for picks:

"Neither a Club nor a Club Actor may pay or provide a Player anything of value, except as provided in his SPC (standard players contract) . . . Upon a finding of this circumvention . . . the player shall forfeit to the League such prohibited payment or other thing of value."

Clearly the “other thing of value” could be picks, but I imagine if some one does issue a complaint (Looking at you Mike Gillis) the player will just have to give the money back to the league.
