Can we ban posts on the Kessel trade? Or at least set a post/comment requirement to post on it? This is getting ridiculous. BUT THE CAPS HELPED!!

until the picks are better players producing/contributing at a better clip than Kessel then the Leafs are the winners
until further notice

I’m going to give you a little credit for actually showing what everybody got in this deal (though you should have mentioned who chicago drafted).
However… yeah, this still qualifies as talking about the Kessel trade.
LOL

I’m sure I shouldn’t respond to a joke post, but I disagree that Lang was NOTHING. He contributed strong offensive and defensive play to the Habs that season and was leading the team in scoring when he suffered a season-ending injury – and it was from that point on that their season really went into the toilet. They lose the deal because they had rotten injury luck (and made the wrong decision on Grabovski/Kostitsyn), just like Boston wins because they had excellent Leafs-forget-how-to-score luck.

It’s true about Lang. I remember the Habs falling apart after his injury.
