Some blog is mad because we figured out how to stuff the ballot box. Seems a bit odd, you'd think UNH fans would be used to losing meaningful competitions by now.

Maybe they should work on fixing the voting problem

instead of crying. Does anyone think Frattin still wouldn’t be in the lead even if Leaf fans voted once per day?

Though i think such a war would be a little unfair, i’m amazed the UNH blog wasn’t destroyed by traffic 5 minutes after chemmy fanshotted the link.

The screenshots on their blog are fucking hilarious, like we’re going to delete comments to make sure nobody knows about our voting fraud.

I’m trying to find video of the 9-1 drubbing BU gave UNH in the Hockey East semifinals one year. When we got bored of serenading UNH with “If you can’t get into college go to state” and “The wheels on your house go round and round” we wandered over to their section and bought their tickets for the finals.

Memories.

Speaking of which, that OT goal against BC came courtesy of one Brandon Yip on an intensely slick little play:

The NCAA stats page is all messed up.

First off, instead of totals, everything is adjusted to a per game statistic. I guess to normalize out uneven schedules. Fair enough.

Frattin has 20 goals in 25 games for a .80 Goals/Game rating. That would put him at the top of the Goals/Game ranking for the NCAA D1 but he’s nowhere to be found. His Points/Game of 1.16 would also put him into a tie for 31st, but that page doesn’t go beyond 30.

If UNH is smart they’ll just do what we did to vot their own player up, or report the bug to the hobeybaker site.

Regardless, it’s not like players win the award based on this vote alone.

Why are the others getting no votes?

Maybe because no one gives a shit about them? In that case, win 10-0 or 1-0, it’s two points. But winning 10-0 is funner, eh?

I thought the guy who writes the blog took it pretty well:
Whoa that was a rush of comments. Thanks for the page hits guys!

Anyways, the only reason I posted this was because people couldn’t figure out why players from their teams (not just UNH) weren’t getting any votes. I know the fan voting really doesn’t matter, but I wanted to let others know what was going on and make the source of the problem known. Obviously I did that.

Alright, I’m done. I have better things to do then to get in a pissing match blog war.

But keep patting yourself on the back, everyone.
