What do you do when Colton Orr pummels you for fun? Well, turns out that if you are Matt Carkner you (RyanClassic makes a good point in that he allegedly does this) go out to Moxie's and beat up a Leafs fan:
I just watched a fight broke out at #Moxies in Kanata with Matt Carkner and some fan. Wow... Some 4th liner and his friends just pounded the shit out of some kid
Totally gutless but that fits right in with a guy that plays with Chris "Hold me back refs!" Neil, Daniel "It was a dump-in" Alfredsson, and Mike "Sneaky Dirty" Fisher.

"Matt Carkner likes to look at boys dicks..."
That would be the tweet a moment earlier. Reputable source right there.

Just because he made a stupid tweet doesn’t mean he’s making shit up.

I didn't say he made it up, I said he's not exactly making himself out to being credible.
Sounds like the guy’s prone to some hyperbole. Carkner, were he there, may have just slapped someone for all you know.
Or he could’ve pummeled someone’s face in. But I want a better source on that. Someone with an ounce of maturity, for instance.

Well, I’ve followed the guy, he seems sane enough, and that’s his business’s twitter as well.
I get what you mean so I edited it appropriately.

Sure there is. That's the Kovalev line.
Was Kovalev at Moxie’s all night? It’d sure explain a lot.

heh
I’m guessing he means ‘scrub’.

Technically, Carkner plays forward as well
He just converted to defence. Kind of like Byfuglien, but lighter and less, y’know, good.

Honestly
I feel terrible for him having to fight Orr so often. The guy’s not a heavyweight. It’s not fair that he has to do it.

Am I the only one tired of Carkner-Orr?
It has nothing to do with who wins or loses more. I just don’t care about it. It’s a sideshow for what are normally blowouts or close/boring games.
I may be the wrong audience for that.

I’d prefer Neil-Orr but I’ll take what I can get.

Chris Neil's a nice guy in person off the ice
And that’s all I have to say about him.

Good for him. I know lots of guys that are great off the ice and become pussy shit-talking losers when they put skates on.

You don't think he's at all a heavyweight?
Or is this just more homerism? I can’t fault you for that.
I would consider him a heavyweight, though perhaps not an elite one.
What do you consider Rick Rypien?
Physically I’m bigger than him, but he can dance with the heavyweights.
Save me the “beat up the fan” and “out for personal reasons” jokes. Genuine question.

Rypien’s a fighter for sure. A buddy of mine knows his family from northern bc or something and apparently all he and his brothers do up there is fight.
Carkner’s not in the same class. Neil’s a turtle.

"or something"... "apparently"
Throw the word “allegedly” in there and you’d have a hat trick for words and phrases that ruin the believability of a story.

You don’t have to believe me. I just can’t remember the details right now.

I think Carkner is not in the NHL to fight, he’s in the NHL to play hockey. I don’t think he’s a heavyweight because I don’t use those terms to classify non-fighters.
In my mind he’s a player that can fight and he shouldn’t have to always fight actual fighters.

I admit my earlier tweet was childish… only because that’s what the guy at the bar kept yelling over and over again. I thought it was funny enough to tweet before all hell broke loose.
.
Believe me or not.. I know I didn’t record the thing. Just thought I’d pass along the craziness I saw.
Wait, was the guy yelling this sentence over and over (which isn’t funny at all, it’s ridiculously immature) the same guy who was allegedly in a fight with Matt Carkner?
Silver Seven: the Daniel Alfredsson of Ottawa Senators blogs.
Heh, well, that guy learned a lesson: being a dick isn’t funny…and it’ll get your ass kicked.
