For those of you keeping score at home this is the second month in a row the Leafs have had players in the top three of both the AHL and NHL players of the month.

Was a funny game…they yanked Schneider after the 1st period, he let in 3 goals. Then Vancouver scored 4 times in the 2nd and chased Rinne out of the net…Nashville comes back to tie it 5-5 before the 2nd ends though. Then Carrie Underwood’s husband breaks the tie with about a minute left, lol.
1/1/11: Saw the beginning of the Optimus Reim era. And it was glorious!!!1
Oh...and Phil Kessel says YAAAAAAYYYY!!!1
This all means the Leafs have talented players, with more talented players in the pipeline.
Sounds Captain Obvious-ish, I know, but I think we all remember not too long ago that we didn`t have a lot of talent anywhere in the system.
Thank you Burke, thank you to our multitude of assistant GMs, and thank you to our coaching staffs at both levels.
