At least we’re fleecing Boston for their second best prospect and a 1st for a rental player. Given the B’s cap situation I’m not sure if they’ll be able to re-sign him…or if they do re-sign him, how? Obviously they have Ryder’s $4mil coming off the table…

I’d just feel better about this if they dont get to keep him

Ideal situation

They win the cup (we get the extra pick), and then we re-sign him at the end of the season.

But whatever happens, he will be missed. Sorely missed. He was Mr. Reliable on a defense that has had a lot of turnover.
