Marlies v. Bears GDT
The Marlies are at home tonight to face the Hershey Bears. Hershey just signed Washington's 2009, 2nd round draft pick (55th overall) Dmitri Orlov to an amateur try out contract. Orlov was an Alternate Captain, playing D for the Gold Medal winning Russians at the WJC in Buffalo this past January.
Hershey are back to back Calder Cup Champs, and currently sit 2nd in the AHL Eastern Division with 74 points, 9 ahead of the Marlies. They're Washington's farm team, and they're pretty damn skilled. Jonas Gustavsson gets the start against Brayden Holtby (the kid that shut out the Leafs earlier this season in Washington).
Colborne and Kadri look to continue scoring streaks, and Christian Hanson is back in the lineup on Colborne's wing. Have at it kids.

I love aspects of London, summers are great, if not humid (but you can say the same for all southern Ontario) and ever since i was out of school I hated the influx of student for the other 3/4th of the year

James Reimer held back the urge to hurl against the Islanders on Tuesday night.
Teammate and leading scorer Clarke MacArthur wasn’t so fortunate.
Only moments before setting a new career-high with his 18th goal of the season and the first marker in a 2-1 victory, the 25-year-old MacArthur spilled his lunch on the Leafs bench. And frankly, it wasn’t the first time.
"I’ve done it a lot," he said with a laugh. "It seems like every game or every other game I’ll get sick with it in the first couple shifts. Whether its nerves or what I don’t know, you’d think I’d played enough games by now. Whatever the reason is I always seem to get like a little gag reflex or something like that. Once I’m done with it I feel great and I’m good to go."
Haha reminds me of Lose Yourself by Eminem
My roommate was a goalie (best in his midget AAA league) and he used to puke after the warmup every game. One playoff game he didnt and he got shelled for 7 goals in two periods. Team made sure he puked before the rest of their games and they swept their way through the rest of the playoffs.

Hahah no way, where is he now? Did’ya know that Glenn Hall (the hall of fame tendy) apparently used to drink a glass of OJ then proceed to throw up before each game.
Hall gained renowned fame around NHL circles for his pre-game ritual. He would vomit before every game and his teammates were rooting for him to lose his lunch or dinner because he seemed to play better after throwing up. The ritual and the streak seemed to go hand in hand for a while and there was actually a method to Hall’s madness. He enjoyed playing every night and the thought of playing poorly made him sick to his stomach.

His esophagus must be in really bad shape.
A few Stanley Cup rings probably alleviates that right away.
