Math is really dumb, I hate how they make you take math courses in High School that 90% of people will never use in real life, while they cut other courses which are far more practical and useful.
English class is 95% completely useless after grade 10. You learn the proper format for formal essays and basic journalism and it just degrades into book reports from there on out.

I get 90% or better on every single essay or report ever, and I think I stayed awake for maybe 20% of my english classes throughout high school. It doesn’t seem like it here because I’m a pretty impulsive person and post without thinking a lot of the time, but if I wanted to try I could write fairly well

haha our teacher rarely gives out 90s (but I got a 90 on the Leafs poem I wrote! in the fanshots). IB’s bellcurves help a lot though :D

The school I'm trying to get into,
University of Western Ontario… named number 4 on Playboy’s list of top party schools in NORTH AMERICA
Finished just behind Penn State, University of Colorado, and University of Arizona. How the hell did it beat out so many American schools?
I’ve never been huge on partying but it’s interesting nonetheless

Apparently the school was more of a party school in the 80s and 90s before trying to clean up it’s image
Also I read that the Saugeen-Maitland Hall in particular is batshit crazy but maybe the whole school isn’t like that

No clue, but like I said partying has never really been my thing. Obviously I’d do some but I’ll leave weekly keg parties to more flamboyant people

I’d never go to a school just because it’s known for partying, I want to go to UWO because the campus is cool (Thames river right through it) and because it has a really good history undergrad program

Webber is definitely getting the shaft, imagine if he had a car that worked.
As an open-wheel tangent: Helio Castroneves is becoming a bit of a jerk?
Thing is, because Webber screwed up qualifying so badly he had an extra set of the optimum tires for the race, thats why he was basically 1 second faster than everyone else over the last 10 laps. If you could somehow squeeze into the top10 using the harder tire then you’d stand a pretty good chance.

Anyone else around here playing EASHL in NHL 11?
If so, did you find it easier to succeed after playing a bunch of games and realizing that about 80% of people just go for neutral zone hits and are easy to dodge with a simple L1-Right(or left depending on handedness) deke?
I started off with like 2 goals in my first 20 games but I’m sitting at 27g 32a 59p after 84 games right now playing half drop-ins and half with teammates who just started themselves. I don’t think it’s great but now I’m at least finding myself scoring a point or two every single game. Gotta be shifty though.

It would be cool but if my buddies are getting NHL 12 as well then I’ll probably be playing with them instead
Now that I’m used to the game mode I’d consider myself somewhat above average (I’m good defensively too.), but if I ditch my friends they will fall apart. It’s like jenga, you see.
