I’d like to say that this game is extremely important, but they pretty much all are at this juncture. At least this one is against a Western Conference team. Hopefully the Leafs play as well as they did in the 1st/2nd period against Ottawa, with a better result.

I think 6 games ? ever since the Winter Classic I think. He has some assists but he has definitely cooled off while Kessel is not.

Honestly I’d like us to keep building with slightly bad goaltending so we don’t become dependant on good tending like the Sabres. Though I should trust Burke to be smart enough to realize that the difference between a good team and an okay team with great goaltending.

It’d probably work best if our rebuilding strengthened our slightly bad goaltending by getting them used to having a slightly bad defence, combined with maybe some forwards who aren’t much good in their own end.

aside: my band has received notice from YouTube that songs of ours, that we own, wrote, created and performed, released on a small, independent record label, with no video accompaniment except for a still of the album art that we made, have been flagged by Sony as potential copyright infringement; this internet censorship stuff is pretty serious fucking horseshit
