We're starting a book club. Want to read and discuss a book during the NHL lockout?

In the cinematic masterpiece "Belly" there's an exchange as follows between Sincere (played by Nas) and Buns (played by DMX).

Sincere: When's the last time you read anything?

Buns: Never motherfucker.

Since we're not professional crackheads we should take advantage of books and read and discuss some particularly noteworthy ones.

Our first book is going to be Nate Silver's "The Signal and the Noise".

The Signal and the Noise: Why So Many Predictions Fail-but Some Don't

The image should link to Goodreads. I checked and the book is available on the Kobo store already in Canada as well as in hardcover. In the US obviously it's available everywhere.

Today is October 4th, let's meet back next Monday the 8th Tuesday the 9th and talk about the introduction and section 1. "A Catastrophic Failure of Prediction".
