I'll help you get the jokes out of the way now: it's been a long time since we've seen the NHL playoffs in Toronto and while most of our rivals (lol Montreal, lol Buffalo) are currently playing in them we're rooting for our AHL team again.

With that past us there are some legitimate NHL prospects on the Marlies in Nazem Kadri and Jake Gardiner, not to mention other guys like Joe Colborne, Carter Ashton, Mark Owuya, Jesse Blacker, and Jerry D'Amigo to name a few.
