So... are we going to keep our heads in the sand with the "90% done Luongo" trade?

First fanpost ever on here so hopefully I'm doing it right...

So, it's been boring at work, and the twitterverse is screaming about Luongo apparently being "90% done towards being traded to the Leafs". The source, while extremely young, has a good history of nailing Canuck trades 20-30 minutes before any other news source finds out.

Do we keep our heads in the sand, or should we chew on this? Clearly moving the monster contract means he's not going to be traded for what he's really worth. Besides money and years on the contract, trade-wise he'd be coming in "on the cheap". I don't know about you guys but the thought of Luongo in Blue and White makes me think two things:

1) Hey, we HAVE to make the playoffs with him as the backstop, right?

and

2) ... we are SO DEAD in the playoffs with Luongo in net.

I don't think I've been so ambivalent about a "top name" trade involving the leafs since... well... possibly ever. I feel like I need a bit of support group, thus this post. How are we feeling Leafs fans? Is this the best, or worst thing that could happen?
