PPP's Top 25 Under 25: The Community Version

How can we have a PPP vote without including PPP super commenter JaredFromLondon?

Today clrkaitken told us he is about to release this summer's top 25 under 25. When, I read that I was excited. Then I read a couple comments by goosemonster and notnormullman about wishing they were able to vote and I realized that I too wish I had the ability to vote. So I figured, why not?

I have thus decided that I am willing to organize a top 25 under 25 from the community to compare to the "official" one from PPP Amalgamated Heavy Industries and Kitty Farm Inc. Join me after the jump if you would like to vote.

So how will this work? Pretty easily. I have made a list of players who are listed on the Leafs' official website under either roster or "in the system" who are under 25 as of June 30th (minus Grant Rollheiser, because as clrkaitken point out, I doubt he is signed come the start of the year). There are 38 (thanks for catching this clrkaitken) 41 players organized alphabetically in that list.

To vote (and thus participate in the community version) all I ask you to do is email me (at bcapp.ppp@gmail.com) your list of the TOP 30 (THIRTY) players in order with your PPP user name.

I will be using the same ranking system as clrkaitken explained here:

We awarded 30 points for a #1 ranking, 29 points for a #2 rankings, all the way down to 1 point for a #30 ranking and no points for players who weren't ranked. The Top 25 list was compiled by the aggregate score for each player, from highest to lowest. We used the following to settle ties;

- total number of rankings (a player with 4 rankings was given priority over a player with 3 rankings)
- if still tied, the highest individual ranking

I will take votes until Sunday July 29th at 7:00 am EST.

Cheers!
