Negotiations were going great. Good headway was made on pensions, contract lengths, even the length of CBA itself. Then the NHL decided to be assholes and change up HRR calculations after the PA had decided not to dissolve. Great job boys! If there was any doubt that the owners don't give two shits about the game of hockey and only want to make money, then you are stupid and that doubt has now been erased.

To quote HOCKEY HALL OF FAMER Jimmy Devellano during the last lockout;

We want the right deal, the hockey's not important. ...

And obviously the owners haven't changed their minds this go around. What assholes.
