This afternoon the Toronto Maple Leafs announced that former Leafs defender, and founder of the Robidas Island community watch program, Stephane Robidas will join the Player Development Department as the assistant head player developer.

Robidas joined the Maple Leafs from the Dallas Stars where he signed a three year contract in 2014. He only played one season with the Maple Leafs, and spent the rest of his time on LTIR, unable to compete in an NHL game. Robidas was seen last season working with Toronto Marlies players and is now an official part of the development staff.

Also joining that department is Jack Han, most recently of The Athletic and a former writer for our rivals at SBN, Eyes On the Prize. Han will be using his knowledge of the game, and ability to breakdown video and plays as the Player Development Analyst.

Both Robidas and Han will report to Scott Pellerin, who is the Maple Leafs Director of Player Development, and join Barb Underhill, Darryl Belfry, Mike Ellis, and Brian Daccord on the player development team.
