There are no fans in the League, or in the sports world, who deserve a championship as the Toronto Maple Leafs fans do for their support over the years.
7. The Toronto Star's Damien Cox reported the Maple Leafs are no longer on Nash's trade list. Can't confirm that, but do believe this: the two teams discussed a trade, but realized there was no match.

How is it the eulogy isn't until tomorrow? I assume it's been in the vault for a while and just has the same recycled jokes you've used for years!

Man, myth, internet annoyance.

Recycling something implies that it is still useful ergo the same old jokes apply to the Senators because they haven't stopped being true.
When and why are hockey players traded in the NHL?
Do they trde players so that the team can get rid their bad players? Bcuz if it is then why would anyone want to trade with them?

Subject: PPP Challenge
Here's a challenge to all you boys over at PPP! Instead of allowing
the Toronto media types (Cox, Blair, Simmons, McCowan, Cherry and the
HNIC 3 Stoogies) pick apart your team by inciting fans to fire
Wilson/Burke/Carlyle (it's inevitable) and the entire Leaf roster
(Ontario boys only), how about putting their butts on the hot seat for
a change and see how they like it when their livelihood is threatened!
You do realize that they have taken control of your team and turned
them into puppets on a string just like you! I mean how else do you
explain the fact that the Leafs were in a play-off spot all season
long right up until the media drove them off that cliff with their
"over the top" trade deadline coverage! They have successfully made a
mockery of your team and are now kicking sand in the face of all Leaf
fans (RIP)! It's time boys, this is your Waterloo unless god forbid
the "PPP" have turned into "TMZ" (Toronto Media Zombies)!
"It’s a position like pitching in baseball," he said, "where without it you have no chance. It doesn’t matter how good the rest of your team is, it doesn’t matter how good of a job you’ve done as a GM, if you don’t have goaltending you can’t win.
"I learned that lesson the hard way in Vancouver."
"To this day, I don’t fault Dan Cloutier," Burke said. "It’s just he got hurt every year at an inopportune time. But when I left there I said, ‘Never again. Never again will I try to go into battle without real artillery.’"
We appear to have a Barb Underhill sighting at the MCC. The power skating instructor is on the vacated Leaf pad.
"I thank very much the whole coaching staff, managers," he said. "They believe in me. Right now, I start a new life, you know? I'm very happy to stay here... I don't think it's just me. All my family worked for that.
"I believe people here [in Toronto] believe in me... I think the fans, No. 1, who believe. That's more important than anything. I don't know why [they like me]. I don't know if they like me, but I believe they like me, you know?"
