While a new CBA remains in limbo, fresh rumors about Roberto Luongo to the Leafs have sprung up across the vast wasteland that is the internet. How serious should we take these rumors?
It was not terribly surprising that the second it looked as though we may have a new CBA, the Luongo to Toronto rumors came flooding back. It's easy to forget that both MSM types and the internet rumor clowns have been down on their luck since September. That said, I'm not sure if I'm ready to believe that Roberto Luongo will be the Leafs' starting goalie should the season ever start. He still maintains the right to refuse any deal, and it was made fairly clear that his preferred destination is South Florida.
Here's a question I have for you all today: Should the entire season be wiped out, would you want the Leafs to trade for a 34 year-old Roberto Luongo? Links below...
