The Dasher
The Dasher - The Week's Best SBNation Hockey Posts - Jan 12th thru 16th
The Dasher is a new old feature, not only on PPP, but on the rest of SBNation's NHL blogs as well. It'll be a weekly post that showcases and highlights some of the better blog posts of the past week from PPP's sister sites, with the hopes that it will generate greater viewership amongst the blogs and get our faithful readers to branch out to the other blogs that make up SBNation.
Editor's Note: You probably remember it if you've been around a while when Mattblack did it.
So please take some time to read the posts below and be sure to join their parent blogs and comment as you see fit.

- Ticket prices aren't going up everywhere, you'll be amazed to hear, I'm sure. It still seems like a lot of loot just to watch the Devils though. (In Lou We Trust).
- A spot of Redden-bashing from our/your backward provincial cousins, kindly brought to you by new housemates, Blueshirt Banter.
- Continuing the theme of linking to the newer folk, Raw Charge has a piece pleading for caution with head-dinged goalie, Mike Smith.
- The single truth that we've all always known, the Canadiens are bad for your health. Soon they will be banned in all public areas. (Habs Eyes on The Prize)
- Who doesn't miss Owen Nolan? Be honest now, who? Fish, that's who. (Hockey Wilderness).
- Second City Hockey - Rapidly becoming the comedy gold of the Western Conference.
- For two stolen minutes, live vicariously on the bubble with the Predators and On The Forecheck.
- Some top(?) 'shopping - if you're into that kind of thing. Over 9000 hours in MS Paint, with Nucks Misconduct. And hey, they're as bad at centring images as PPP! Editor's Note: It's Chemmy that can't centre a picture to save his life. I can't avoid typos for sme reason.

The Dasher
This is going to be a new regular feature around here. We know you're all Leafs fans but occasionally interesting stuff happens in hockey that doesn't involve the Leafs. Here at SBNation we have a lot of great team specific blogs, so I'm happy to introduce the Dasher, where we'll link interesting stuff on other blogs for you guys to check out.
And just to confirm, 'Déjà vu' is that strange feeling you sometimes get that you've lived through something before.
- First of all, some goalie tied some kind of record this week. Apparently. It hasn't been covered much. Thankfully, Mirtle has all you'd ever want to know and more, From The Rink.
- Can the Flyers catch the Devils before time runs out? Of course not, but Broad Street Hockey aren't going to let a few minor obstacles like common sense get in the way.
- More developments now in the disturbing field of stick-obsession. Stanley Cup of Chowder outs Marc Savard as the latest man caught in a desperate tryst.
- Some good news anyway from Japers' Rink - the long awaited return to Washington of Brian Pothier.
- Matchsticks and Gasoline takes a long hard look in the road trip mirror.
- Over at Five For Howling - they've given up. Their bodies be too tank-a-licious for ya, babe.
- They're calling for regime change at Mile High Hockey.
- It's not often I feel sympathy for Buffalo, but man...losing to Atlanta. Harsh. Die By The Blade counts the cost.
