A really solid piece here by Adrian Dater, who has been known to toss a firebomb or two in the past when it comes to the Preds. In this profile for Sports Illustrated, however, he does a great job detailing the story behind Barry Trotz's long tenure here in Nashville, along with the major accomplishment which has eluded him so far: playoff success.

Pierre LeBrun pops the "Preds have no star players" bubble. Any coach in the league would love to have Ryan Suter & Shea Weber patrolling the blueline. The terrifying bit in there (as noted by Buddy Oakes) is a throwaway line about Steve Sullivan being out until the All-Star break... that's another couple of weeks.
