Why are the Maple Leafs the only team that has its own blog on the Globe and Mail? Because news that their 7th defenceman might slot into the line-up at the expense of the team's 6th defenceman is more widely viewed than much more important stories. It's simple dollars and cents: more page views equals more ad revenue.

Nevermind that he lies about how the anti-fighting forces used Don Sanderson's tragic death to forward their agenda. At least he's replied. This cannot end well for him. As a start, head over and remind him of how he used Sanderson's death as an opening for pushing his agenda.
