The excitement is building for the Leafs future and one of the best ways to get hyped is to see the kids in action. The Maple Leafs host three other NHL teams in an annual rookie tournament and this year it's returning to the home of the OHL's London Knights.

According to AM980 in London the Leafs rookie tournament will take place in London, ON from September 16th-18th this fall.

The opponents are the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, and Pittsburgh Penguins. This will most likely be your first chance to see Auston Matthews in a Leafs jersey, as well as other 2016 picks, and Junior kids like Mitch Marner, Travis Dermott, Dmytro Timashov, and many more.
