The official preview is up and here's a scary tidbit:

Phil Kessel opened the scoring on the man advantage, also adding an assist while extending his points streak to 15 - the longest in the NHL this season. He has 12 goals and 10 assists during the run and has already matched his career high with 19 goals this season.

Let's take a look at those stats:

2008 - Philip Kessel 30 19 12 31 12 6 6 0 2 1 97 19.6

I wonder if that shooting percentage is sustainable...Anyway, what is on Bruins fans' minds? Besides thoughts of their sisters?

Stanley Cup of Chowder is dreaming of extended winning streaks:

The Bruins will try to stretch their home win streak to 12 tonight when they take the ice against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the only team to beat the B's in regulation on home ice this season. The Leafs will also be looking to continue a streak of their own, having won 3 straight contests.

Wow, that looks pathetic when you put it next to the Bruins' streak.

Here Come The Bruins took a look the most unlikely 50 goal scorers and one Mr. Gary "Hey Al, your wife's real nice" Leeman made the list!

Cornelius Hardenbergh is feeling a little verklempt

Hockey is such a blue-collar sport sometimes.  Some blog or other said during the sean avery scandal-rama that "at it's heart, hockey is still a sport played by canadian farmboys."  I know it's wicked sappy, but I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff.

It is wicked sappy but I agree.
